Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov announced that it is early to speak about holding a new Syrian National Dialogue Congress.
Sputnik quoted Bogdanov as saying in an answer to a question by journalists on the date of holding a new Syrian National Dialogue Congress that “This issue depends on the readiness and desire of the Syrian parties…Therefore it is early to speak about that.”
On January 30th, participants in the Syrian National Dialogue Congress, which was held in Sochi City, affirmed in the final statement full adherence to the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Syria and that the Syrian people only can decide the future of their country.
