His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received, at the Al-Safriya Palace, Saudi Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi and President of the Saudi Railways Organisation Dr. Rumaih Mohammed Al-Rumaih.

 

The minister conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and from Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. 

 

HM the King welcomed the Saudi minister, extending greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the HRH the Crown Prince and wishing the brotherly people further progress and prosperity. He took pride in deep-rooted solid historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hailing advanced joint cooperation in all fields, particularly joint ventures in the sector of transportation. 

 

HM the King paid tribute to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his honourable stances in support of Bahrain and its people, hailing his efforts to bolster Bahraini-Saudi relations and serve the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations. He lauded Saudi landmark development   strides in the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. 

 

He stressed the importance of exchanging such key visits which, he said, play a crucial role in strengthening joint coordination in the sector of transportation. He hailed Saudi efforts to optimize services for passengers on the King Fahd Causeway to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, as well as import and export. 

 

HM the King underscored the crucial importance of the strategic artery, describing the milestone as epitomizing solid cooperation to serve the shared interests and aspirations of the two brotherly people. He hailed the planned King Hamad Causeway which will represent a quantum leap for the sector of land transportation and the movement of travelers between the two countries, stressing the importance of linking Bahrain with the planned GCC railways project.

 

The Saudi minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing his keenness on strengthening solid relations between the two countries in all fields. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity, led by HM the King.
