HM King Hamad bin Isa hails Bahrain-Egypt ties.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed deep-rooted fraternal relations binding Bahrain and Egypt, lauding steadily-growing cooperation in all fields. He commended the dedicated efforts of the two countries’ leaderships to further strengthen relations and bolster joint ties towards achieving shared interests.

He made the statement as he received, at Al-Sakhir Palace, Egypt’s House of Representatives Speaker Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal and the accompanying delegation, who arrived in Bahrain on an official visit at the invitation of the Council of Representatives.
The Speaker conveyed to HM the King greetings from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, who wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. HM the King also extended greetings to President Al-Sisi, wishing the Egyptian people further progress and prosperity.
He welcomed the Speaker, describing his visit as mirroring strong and special bilateral relations. He hailed joint parliamentary relations and exchange of expertise, which contributes developing the democratic process in both countries.
HM the King hailed the Egyptian stances, led by President Al-Sisi, in support of Bahrain and commended the historic role of Egypt in defending Arab vital interests and protecting Arab security, which represents the cornerstone of Arab stability.
HM the King hailed Bahrain’s legislative strides, stressing the Kingdom’s success in building a developed and viable parliamentary process through the bicameral system. Dr. Aal expressed thanks to HM the King, hailing the royal keenness on strengthening cooperation, particularly parliamentary ties. He reiterated Egypt’s support to Bahrain’s security and stability, taking pride in Egypt’s leadership, people and solid fraternal relations with the Kingdom.
