Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh
Manama - Arab Today

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh stressed the crucial importance of the GCC joint-security exercise, Arab Gulf Security 1, which concluded this afternoon in Bahrain. "This exercise reflects strong fraternal relations and unwavering determination to protect the security and stability of the GCC states, confront challenges and combat terrorist organisations", he said, taking pride in the drill which was held in Bahrain.

The Kingdom of Bahrain, he said, always backs all efforts to maintain security, withstand regional security challenges and stave terrorist threats which are seeking to destabilise countries and derail development. Al-Saleh hailed the combat readiness of the joint GCC security forces, paying tribute to all the affiliates of the Interior Ministry for their honourable performance and dedication alongside their GCC counterparts. In a statement marking the conclusion of the GCC joint-security exercise, Arab Gulf Security 1, he said that the exercise reflects unity of goal, common destiny and unwavering determination to confront any danger threatening security and stability.
