Encroachments on lakes of Manzala, Mariot, Borlos removed

Encroachments on 31,646 square meters of land and 1,639 feddans of the lakes of Manzala, Mariot and Borlos have been removed over the past three days, the Agriculture Ministry announced Saturday.
The move comes in line with directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to remove all encroachments on state-owned lands, said Agriculture Minister Abdel Men'em el Banna.
The president also ordered firm measures be taken against violators, Banna added.
