Cigarette smuggling bid foiled in Buraimi

A cigarette smuggling attempt has been foiled by Buraimi police, the ROP announced on Wednesday. Al Buraimi Governorate Police have foiled a truck driver and his passenger's attempt to smuggle 650 boxes of smoking cigarettes into the Sultanate. The cigarettes were hidden in specially made drawers underneath the truck. The two suspects have been held for investigations, and all items have been seized for necessary legal action.
