Chief of UAE Armed Forces Staff visits Bahrain International Defence Exhibition
Manama - Arab Today

Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and his accompanying delegation visited the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference, BIDEC, which started in Manama today.

The Chief of Staff toured the exhibition which included a number of pavilions and platforms of countries and international companies specialised in the field of weapons, equipment and defence technologies in the world.

Al Rumaithi expressed his admiration for what he saw of various advanced equipment and modern weapons. He appreciated the invitation to attend the exhibition, and its good organisation and the wide participation of leading companies in the defence sector from around the world.

The exhibition is held under the patronage of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force, and is taking place from 16th to 18th October, 2017, at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

BIDEC is fully supported by the Bahrain Defence Force, and presents a new opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the latest technology, equipment and hardware across land, sea and air.
