Bahraini-Saudi relations praised

Southern Governor HH Shaik Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today received Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al-Shaikh, and discussed ways to boost joint interests.
The governor pointed out the contributions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to maintaining international peace and stability, highlighting the key Saudi role in defending Arab and Islamic nations' gains, security and stability.
He noted HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s welcome to the successful visit of the Saudi leader to Russia.
The Saudi Ambassador lauded Bahrain’s festive atmosphere marking the Saudi National Day, which reflects the solid bilateral relations.
He congratulated the governor on his appointment and the royal confidence vested in him. He commended his efficiency and wished him success in fulfilling his new responsibilities.
