Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, President of Zayed University, has emphasised the necessity for attention to be paid towards initiatives that enhance scientific research and innovation that meet with the aspirations of the wise leadership in raising the nation's performance across all fields and attaining the objectives of the national agenda.

Al Qasimi, during a recent meeting at the Zayed University Abu Dhabi Campus, hosting Mohamed Amir Maani, Founder and Organising Committee Chairperson of the Fourth Middle East Molecular Biology Conference and Exhibition, MEMBS, called upon the participants to attend to the dispatched outcomes of the recently held conference and follow-up on executed results to cover, after all, different disciplines and fields of scientific research and innovation.

The development of upcoming generations of students and graduates, researchers and innovators must be sought out, to further engage them in local and regional conferences as well as scientific events, urging those fresh talents and minds to further improve their educational background, which then, enables them to fully express bright thoughts and innovative ideas, she added.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Marilyn Roberts, Provost of Zayed University and Dr. Fares Hawari, Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Health Sciences and some organising committee members.

Mohamed Maani conveyed his gratitude to the support shown by Sheikha Lubna for hosting the 4th edition of the MEMBS conference. He also praised the outstanding commitment shown by Zayed University students during their participation at the conference naming them ‘future talents and leaders.’ The conference was attended by over 800 scientists and researchers from 40 countries.
