UAE, France discuss joint cooperation

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan today met French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and discussed joint cooperation and ways of bolstering bilateral relations to serve shared strategic interests.
UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Shaikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al-Nahyan attended the meeting which focused on aspects of political, security, scientific and cultural cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and France.
The two sides discussed latest developments, regional and international issues of mutual interest, stressing particularly the need to combat terrorist organisations and support regional and international efforts aimed at maintaining security, peace and stability in the region.
