Tunis - ArabToday

Youssef Chahed, head of the Tunisian National Unity Government, conducted a limited cabinet reshuffle involving two ministers and a secretariat of state, according to the presidency of the Tunisian government on Saturday.

Chahed decided to nominate Ahmed Adhoum and Khalil Ghariani, respectively ministers of religious affairs and civil services, according to a presidency statement published on its official website.

Adhoum, 63 years old, was nominated as the minister of state domain on 2011 by then head of government Beji Caid Essebsi, who is now the president.

Ghariani was a member of executive bureau of Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Craft (UTICA, confederation of trade unions of employers).

Meanwhile, the head of the Tunisian government appointed Abdellatif Hmam as new secretary of state for commerce.

Since last August, the government of Youssef Chahed consists of 26 ministers and 14 secretaries of state.
