Progress reported in cooperation between Egypt, Belarus

Scientific and cultural cooperation between Egypt and Belarus is witnessing a positive development, Belarus Ambassador in Cairo Sergei Rachkov said on Monday.
In statements to MENA, the diplomat said an Egyptian delegation visited Belarus in May to discuss fostering cooperation in the scientific and technological domains.
A protocol was signed during the visit to enhance cooperation between the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the ambassador said.
As for cultural cooperation, the ambassador said Egypt will take part, for the first time, in the International Festival of Arts "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" in Vitebsk to be held this month.
