Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali.
Sargodha - Arab Today

Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali Tuesday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had fulfilled its promises about ending
load-shedding and overcoming terrorism issues due to policies
of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to the media here at an open kutchery, the minister said that the power division was busy in installing new transmission
lines and grid stations from Karachi to Khyber, adding that voltage
drop issue would also be resolved till March this year.
A total of Rs 22 billion were being spent for up-gradation of grid stations and FESCO transmission lines, he added.
The minister said that Nandipur project remained neglected by the previous government and the PML-N led government made all-out efforts to make it operational. Now, the project was contributing 515 megawatts of electricity to the national grid.
The credit for executing Neelum-Jhelum Project goes to the incumbent government which will start adding more electricity to the national grid from March.
He also listened to 28 complaints of consumers regarding shortage of voltage, installation of electric meter, old transformers and directed the officials concerned to solve the public matter on priority.
