Kuwait First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah reaffirmed Monday keenness to expand cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled said Kuwait's cooperation with NATO witnessed a turning point when the Arab Gulf country joined the Islamic Cooperation Initiative (ICI) in 2014 and the culmination would be the opening of ICI's Regional Center in Kuwait tomorrow.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled made the remarks during a meeting with visiting NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who was accompanied by members of the North Atlantic Council (NAC).
