Emirates Cricket Board today announced the team that will represent the UAE at the upcoming Western Region Under-19s Asia Cup Qualifier Tournament.

To be played in Malaysia, the U19 Western Region qualifier tournament will commence Tuesday, 31st October, and continue through to the finals on Wednesday, 8th November, 2017.

Commenting on the announcement, Waleed Bukhatir, Emirates Cricket Board Member and Chief Selector, said; "Our U19 boys have been under preparation for this qualifying tournament throughout the summer months. Our coaching team are very encouraged by the development and progress they have seen, and are confident this team will achieve our goal of winning the tournament, and participating in the Asia Cricket Council’s U19 Asia Cup which commences on November 10th."

The team that will represent the UAE at the Western Region Under-19 Asia Cup Qualifier is Fahad Nawaz, Jonathan Figy, Karthik Meiyappan, Mohammed Ali Mirza, Hrithik Bhatia, Aryan Lakra, Rahul Bhatia, Syed Haider Shah, Ansh Tandon, Niel Lobo, Brandon Martis, Shah Faisal Khan, Marlon Malcolm and Ehtesham Siddiqui.
