Egypt looks forward to promoting ties with Germany
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi phoned Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi phoned Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel to congratulate her over winning a fourth term.
Sisi also greeted merkel over the German Unity Day, stressing that Egypt was looking forward to continuing work to promote the distinguished bilateral relations.
Merkel appreciated Sisi, asserting Berlin's keenness on boosting the bilateral ties at all levels
She underlined the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between Berlin and Cairo on regional and international files.
The phone call tackled a number of topics related to bilateral ties, ways to promote them in the coming period and the developments at the level of regional issues.
