Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
Islamabad - Arab Today

Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday said the collusion of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was just to gain power.
It was the “flop” power show of the political parties including PTI and PPP in Lahore, he said while talking to a private news channel.
Since 2008, the continuity in the democratic system was established and it should continue without disruption, he said.
The democratic system was facing difficulties but we pray and hope that the system would continue in the country, he added.
He said that Co-Chairperson of PPP A.A.Zardari could not apprehend the culprits of Benazir Bhutto while running the government in the past.
Instead of talking about the martyrs of Model Town incident, PPP should account for, the martyrs of Liaqat Bagh, Rawalpindi incident, he said.
The PPP had squandered the fifteen million dollars of the nation for establishing a committee at UNO for probing the matter, he added.
To a question, he said next election would be held in time, adding that democratic system would continue.
