Bahrain strongly condemns North Korea's firing of ballistic missile over Japan's Hokkaido Island

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns North Korea's firing of a ballistic missile over Japan's Hokkaido island, and its repeated provocations and unacceptable violation of the relevant Security Council resolutions, which constitute a serious threat to international peace and security.
The Ministry reiterates the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with friendly Japan and its support to all measures that preserve its security and stability. The Ministry calls on North Korea to abide by the Security Council's resolutions and to engage constructively with all peace efforts. It stresses the need of the international community to continue its efforts to stop all activities and practices that cause tension, and highlights the importance of supervision of the International Energy Agency of all nuclear programmess and activities.
