Arab League to discuss Israeli escalation in Syria's Golan on Thursday
Israeli escalation on the occupied Syrian Golan

The Arab League Council will discuss on Thursday the Israeli escalation on the occupied Syrian Golan, said an official.
In statements on Wednesday, Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and the occupied Arab territories Ambassador Said Abu Ali stressed the importance of Thursday's Emergency meeting.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a cabinet meeting for the first time in the occupied Golan Heights and ruled out returning them to Syria.
Israel occupied the Golan Heights after 1967 War and illegally annexed the region in 1981, unanimously rejected the same year by the UN Security Council.
