His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his residence here today HM King Letsie III of Lesotho, with whom he discussed the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-African relations in various fields.

HRH the Prime Minister conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to HM King Letsie III, as well as his wishes of further progress to friendly Lesotho.

The Prime Minister affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on enhancing cooperation with African countries in various fields through strengthening economic and investment partnerships for the common interests of both sides.

HRH Premier highlighted the importance of African countries in the global economy thanks to their huge natural resources, calling for the need to adopt diversified cooperation programmes to benefit from the two sides’ potentials and opportunities.

The Prime Minister stressed that there are prospects for stronger GCC-African cooperation in the future, given the two sides’ shared desire to bolster bilateral ties in various fields.

HRH Premier wished Lesotho and its friendly people further progress and prosperity.

HM King Letsie III expressed delight in the steadily-growing GCC-African relations, lauding the progress boom witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, under its leadership.

He wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
