King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa met Tarō Kōno.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received at Al-Sakhir Palace, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Tarō Kōno, on the sidelines of the 2017 Manama Dialogue.
HM the King welcomed the Japanese official, taking pride in the advanced level of bilateral relations binding Bahrain and Japan. He hailed steadily-growing cooperation in all fields.
The two sides reviewed relations of friendship and cooperation and means of bolstering political, economic, trade and investments ties.
They also discussed the issues featuring on the agenda of the Manama Dialogue forum, in addition to regional and international developments.
HM the King hailed the pioneering role of Japan in the Asian continent, lauding its positive contributions in serving global security and stability.
