Al Muraikhi Meets Ethiopian and Pakistani Candidates for WHO Director General Post

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met separately with Dr Tedros Adhanom, Ethiopian candidate for the post of Director General of the World Health Organization, and Dr Sania Nishtar, Pakistani candidate for the post of Director General of the World Health Organization, on the sidelines of the meetings of High-Level Segment of the 34th Regular Session Human Rights Council being held in Geneva.
During the meeting, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs welcomed the two candidates, expressing hope that whoever assumes the post would exert more efforts to develop the organization in view of their respective programs and ideas to advance the work of the World Health Organization.
