AL chief, Lebanese min. discuss bolstering cooperation in media

AL chief Ahmed Abul Gheit on Tuesday discussed with Lebanese Information Minister Melhem Riachi means of boosting cooperation in the field of media.
They tackled the key topics on the agenda of the 48th session of the Arab information ministers' Council, slated to be held Wednesday at the Arab League headquarters, Spokesman for AL chief Mahmoud Afifi said.
The current priorities of the Arab countries, including the role of media in fighting terrorism and extremism along with supporting the development process taking place across Arab countries are on top of the agenda of Wednesday’s meeting.
