President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi
Cairo - MENA

The official pages of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Facebook and Twitter launched Saturday hashtag Masr Betefrah (Egypt rejoices) to celebrate the end of work in the mega project of New Suez Canal.

The New Suez Canal project is planned to be inaugurated on August 6 with a great international celebration.

The pages urged the Egyptians to send their photos with the hashtag to be shared on the president's social network pages.

They posted a video about Egyptians' opinions on the new waterway on the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9j2801Bw5M
