H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a budget of AED1 million for the 13th Emirates Festival of Child Theatre, organised by the UAE Theatrical Association, UAETA, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sharjah next month.

"The patronage of the Ruler of Sharjah for the festival underlines the importance of the event and reflects the emirate's keenness to provide all support for such cultural activities that add value to the cultural landscape not only in the emirate but also in the Arab region," said Abdullah bin Mohamed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture, Sharjah.

"The event bears an important cultural message to the whole, world, he added.
