The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, visited today the19th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition, WETEX 2017.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

Sheikh Mohammed toured the exhibition area, and reviewed the latest technologies displayed at the exhibition, where more than 2,000 exhibitors from 40 different countries are participating.

His Highness stopped by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, where he was briefed by Saeed Al Tayer, DEWA’s Managing Director and CEO, on the authority's latest projects and developments.

The event falls under the umbrella of the fourth session of Green Week, held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and President of DEWA.
