GCC Chief invited to Astana OIC Summit

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani received an invitation from Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Kudaybergenovich Abdrakhmanov to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit on Science And Technology Summit in Astana.
Dr. Alzayani received Kazakh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Batyrshaev Bakhit who delivered the invitation. The two sides also discussed relations biding the GCC and the Republic of Kazakhstan and ways of developing joint cooperation, in addition to regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.
The meeting which was held at the General Secretariat in Riyadh was attended by Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Negotiations Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Ouwaishaq.
