Tunis – Hayet al-Ghanami

Tunisian security forces managed to arrested four young people, aged between 23 and 25 years, for sending a stream of tweets glorifying ISIS terrorist organization, in Kasr Helal city.

According to the information available, the four young men, two of them from the city of Kasr Helal and one of Sidi Bouzid, and another from Siliana ,who had known each other by virtue of study in the city of Kairouan, and engaged through their accounts on social networking pages to glorify ISIS organization.

The security authorities referred the defendants to the prosecution for investigations ahead of referring them to trial.

In the same context, the Ministry of the Interior reported in a statement that security forces arrested terrorist elements in Bizerte. The suspect accused of joining a terrorist organization.

The emergence of terrorism in different places such as Sousse, Sidi Bouzid and other places away from Shaanbi is expected, and that dormant cells are distributed in Tunisia everywhere and throughout the Republic and its mandates. The groups affiliated with Ansar al-Shariah operate and move without sufficient awareness. It should be noted that there are about 620 elements who returned from Syria, but the largest number returned illegally.

Perhaps the most dangerous is the situation, especially with the discovery of information from the cells, which were dismantled in the coast and Sidi Bouzid, which talk about the existence of programs to bomb public facilities. The expansion of terrorism can be seen as linked to smuggling and the continued work of its barons.

Dormant cells are distributed everywhere in Tunisia, including cells in popular neighborhoods. It is noteworthy that the largest number of those recruited for the war in Syria, are from the state of Medenine and from the north-west.

Experts stressed that terrorism has become an industry and is associated with a whole region and a foreign project. They said that the expansion of the map of terrorism in Tunisia is linked to the expansion and spread of smuggling throughout the territory of the country. They noted that terrorism has isolated elements that can work everywhere and called on the citizen to enjoy awareness, security sense and patriotism, to report on every shareholder in terrorism and to report on every element of suspicion.
