Baghdad - Naglaa Taa'y

Iraqi troops managed to counter an attack from ISIS on Mousl's Hadar district, as they managed to kill 20 extremists, including four persons with explosive belts.

Meanwhile, US Pentagon revealed that the extremist group used the laboratories of Mousl University to produce chemical weapons using mustard gas, while they failed.

The Pentagon's spokesperson added that the group produced material with no relation with mustard gas, stressing that there is no evidence that this material led to any killings.

In the same context, sources revealed that the extremist group was distributing expired drugs in the right bank of the city still controlled by ISIS. They added that the group provided the expired medicines to children in the framework of a media campaign to prove the stability in the group's controlled areas.

On the other hand, "We Are Coming Nineveh" Conference for Building and Construction has been launched on Wednesday under sponsorship of parliament Speaker Seleim Al Jabori. It witnessed the participation of a number of ministers and Nineveh's local authority.

Jabori said, during his speech before the conference, that Nineveh's return to the country creates hope to restore its position as strong and active city. He stressed the need for taking the necessary steps to achieve this objective.

He added that the residents of liberated areas wait serious plan to restore the normal life in the city during the coming period according to specific timetable and clear phases. He underlind the current critical economic position witnessed in the country.

He called the local authorities in Nineveh for finding economic alternatives and to activate the private sector, stressing the need for concluding agreements with major companies to perform a role in financing the rebuilding process.

He called the Iraqi government for taking moves to push the international community to support the rebuilding of the city in coordination with the international organizations
