Iraqi Federal Police revealed that ISIS militants turned to use the civilians as human shields in Mousl's right bank to prevent the advance of the governmental troops, saying that they also planted explosive devices inside the houses. It added that the Iraqi air forces destroyed two laboratories to make explosives and stores of weapons in Nineveh.

Leader of "We Are Coming Nineveh" Abdel Amir Yar Allah praised the efforts exerted by the Iraqi air forces to secure seven combat missions in the city's right bank and Telaffar. He added that they destroyed two laboratories to bomb the wheels and to make explosives and two stores of weapons and military equipment. He added that the International Coalition secured 20 combat missions in which they destroyed large amounts of weapons and equipment and killed a large number of extremists in the area.

He added that the federal police succeeded to achieve notable advance, as they stormed the districts of Jawsaq and Aviation, saying that they resume their advance to fully liberate the area from the grip of the extremist group. He revealed that they managed to destroy two car bombs and bombed two explosive belts, adding that they seized large amounts of weapons and bombed ten explosive devices.

Tar Allah underlined the efforts exerted by the anti-extremism troops, as they achieved notable advance in Wadi Hajar and cleansed the Mamoun district. They destroyed five bombing wheels and a motorcycle, as they bombed 34 explosive devices killing a large number of militants.

On his hand, leader of Federal Police Shaker Gawdat revealed that ISIS militants turned to use the civilian people as human shields to confront the attacks of the Iraqi troops on their strongholds in Aviation district. He added they planted large amounts of explosive devices inside the residential houses. He added that the police forces currently besiege the extremist elements in the areas they control in Nineveh.

In the same context, Military Intelligence Directorate revealed that the Iraqi air forces managed to kill extremist Governor of Telaffar's Al Jazeera Ammar Al Hassan and his military leader Ahmed Assaf, known as Abu Hagar. However, the residents of Jawsaq district said that the foreign members of the extremist militias withdrew to other safe areas.
