Legislation to optimise health services discussed

President of the Supreme Health Council Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainin. He lauded the role of the Parliament Affairs Ministry in boosting cooperation between the executive and legislative branches so as to highlight the kingdom’s civilisational achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Both sides hailed the unlimited support given by the leadership to the health projects and reviewed a number of issues pertaining to the health field, including mainly the National Health Insurance Programme.
The Parliament Affairs Minister lauded the distinguished efforts of the Supreme Health Council in the implementation of key projects, stressing the ministry’s keenness on ensuring success of health projects, particularly the National Health Insurance Programme for the positive effect it will have on optimising health services.
