Algerian accessories designer Shawsh Asia, prepares to present new pieces of her new collection "Jewelry of dreams", at the exhibition will be held in Algeria, on Saturday. The 40-year-old designer. She stressed, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that her new collection is inspired by the heritage of the Algerian group, but it added a modern twist to keep up with the current era.
She gave an example of the tribal jewelery, known in various provinces of the country, she said that she made a lot of changes in it, and used a pearl necklace with pieces of silver bearing tribal symbols decorated with red coral.
Asia indicated that she is one of the Algerian heritage arts' lovers, which inspired by the natural colors. However, she follows up, at the same time, the fashion industry dramatically and intensively, confirming that she is trying to invent what is special and new through the application of ideas that are a figment of her imagination in the real world.
Asia stated that these pieces received great demand in Algeria, where the Algerian woman began to give up a little bit of gold, which was regarded as the only ornaments used in the various private events like weddings, despite its high cost.
