His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi,
London - Arab Today

His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, visited the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) Pavilion at the London Book Fair 2017, which concludes on Thursday.

The MBRF is participating in the fair, one of the publishing industry’s most prominent exhibitions, under the auspices of Qindeel Printing, Publishing and Distribution.

Dr Shaikh Sultan was accompanied by Sulaiman Al Mazroui, UAE Ambassador to the UK, as well as representatives from local and international media outlets. The delegation was received by Saif Al Mansouri, General Manager of MBRF Holding, the foundation’s investment arm.

Al Mansouri presented the Ruler of Sharjah with a collection of Qindeel publications by renowned Arab authors, including Ali Afifi Ali Ghazi’s new book, ‘Egyptian-Ottoman Conflict and the International Balance of Power in the 1930s’, which addresses the effects of that conflict on the balance of power in 1930s’ Europe, and its repercussions on the Near East.

Also in the collection was ‘Khawajas’ and ‘Stories in the Arabian Desert’ by Qasim Bin Khalaf Al Ruwais, which tells 22 stories of explorers from The Netherlands and Poland who travelled across the Arabian Peninsula and documented the stories of its people.
