Alexandria International Film festival to kick off Wednesday

The 31st Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries is scheduled to kick off Wednesday.
As many as 33 countries, 300 films and 120 Arab and foreign guests will take part in the 2015 festival.
Syrian actor Duraid Lahham along with French and Russian actors will be present.
President of the festival Al Amir Abaza told MENA that the conclusion ceremony would be staged at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on September 8.
The festival includes a special programs on the Suez Canal and Palestine in cinema, he added
The opening film will not be an Egyptian, it will be the Frencf film (120 Years of Cinema), Abaza said.
In the official competitions of the festival, Saayokom Mashkour and Abo El Abbas will compete.
