“Manama, Capital Governorate” launched
Manama - Arab Today

An illustrated book highlighting aspects of Manama has been launched at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa.

Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa patronized the launch ceremony, in the presence of Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Honorary Chairman of Bahrain Fine Arts Society Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa.

Supported by Al-Ahli United Bank, the “Manama, Capital Governorate” illustrated book features 117 pictures taken by 21 photographers.

A photo expo was also opened on the sidelines of the launch ceremony which was attended by MPs, leading personalities, businessmen and dignitaries, journalists, columnists and other media figures.

The expo exhibits thirty-five pictures which depict Manama, the Capital Governorate, showcasing the talent of Bahraini and expatriate photographers.

Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of the book which reveals the aesthetic and civilized aspects which characterize Manama, the Capital Governorate.
