Russian warplanes launched on Thursday 14 airstrikes on several sites in Aleppo and its countryside.
The air raids left scores of people dead and wounded, Yassin Abu Raed, a media officer for the Syrian Revolutionary Forces, told Al Arabiya Al Hadath TV channel.
Clashes are still underway in southern Aleppo countryside, he added.
"On Wednesday, Russian jet fighter targeted 15 districts in Aleppo, leaving 22 people dead," Abu Raed pointed out.
