US-led coalition fighter jets pound Daesh positions in Mosul

The US-led coalition said that its warplanes carried out new airstrikes on Daesh sites in Iraq's Mosul city.
The airstrikes - which have been conducted in coordination with Iraqi forces - destroyed armored vehicles, hideouts and tunnel networks, American channel Alhurra quoted a statement released by the coalition as saying Monday.
On Sunday, the US army admitted that at least 352 civilians have been killed in US-led air raids against Daesh terrorists in Iraq and Syria since the start of the coalition operations in 2014.
