Military escalation in Hilal oil area threatens Libyans

The military escalation in al Hilal oil area constitutes a threat to the source of livelihood for millions of Libyan people, said UN Special envoy to Libya Martin Kobler.
In a Twitter message, Kobler urged all sides to exercise self-restraint and work on protecting civilians and oil establishments in Libya.
Earlier, forces affiliated to the Saraya Defend Benghazi (SDB) group launched an attack yesterday morning against al Hilal oil area with the aim of controlling oil installations.
