Pakistan's Senate has unanimously condemned the launch of a ballistic missile toward Makkah region
Islamabad - BNA

Pakistan's Senate has unanimously condemned the launch of a ballistic missile toward Makkah region.
According to the official Pakistani News Agency, the Council unanimously adopted a draft resolution submitted by the head of the ruling party bloc in the Senate of Pakistan, Rajh Zafar Alhaq.

The resolution demanded the UN Security Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take strict action against those responsible for the attempted attack on the most sacred spot for more than a billion Muslims around the world, which hurt the feelings of the people of Pakistan and the Islamic nation as a whole.

The resolution demanded that the Pakistani government emphasizes its full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the defense of the sanctity of the holy places, which is a hub for the Islamic nation.
