The State of Qatar participated in the two-day Eighth Atlantic Council Istanbul Summit
Istanbul - Arab Today

The State of Qatar participated in the two-day Eighth Atlantic Council Istanbul Summit, with a delegation chaired by HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada.
HE the Minister of Energy and Industry discussed the challenges and outlook for the energy sector during the summit's special briefing session.
On the sidelines of the event, HE the Minister met with Mary Bruce Warlick, who is the U.S.' Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Energy Resources at the Department of State. HE the Minister also met with CEO of Atlantic Council Frederick Kempe and a number of ranking officials at the council.
The Atlantic Council has been conducting studies and research programmes ever since its founding that focuses on political, economic, and security issues in the Americas, Europe, and Asia among other regions around the world. The council believes that transatlantic ties will be the main engine for developing a strong world-system.
