The Higher Committee for Overseeing Sudan Relations with BRICS countries Wednesday held a regular meeting in the Republican Palace.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Awad Al-Jaz, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee.

Dr. Al-Jaz said in a press statements that the work at Rahad Agricultural Scheme, one of Sudan - China partnership model projects, is progressing well in cultivation of cotton, groundnut, and sunflower.

He stated that Committee discussed ways for enhancement of Sudanese exports to BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India China and South Africa), addressing the challenges and combating gold smuggling.
