Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received officials from Capital Impact Partners and Philips, and discussed with them investment opportunities in solar energy and energy efficiency. 
The delegation was led by Capital Alliance Managing Partner Fawzi Al Aradi and PoaloCervini from Philips.
The minister welcomed the visitors who presented their projects and activities in the field of investment in solar energy, efficiency of auditing and consultation in rationalizing consumption. They also highlighted their desire to take part in Bahrain's projects and available opportunities.
The minister praised their activities, and said Bahrain encourages investment in renewable energies. He said Bahrain is also interested in getting acquainted with activities of specialised companies in this field and in studying their offers and working with them. 
Dr. Mirza said Bahrain’s Sustainable Energy Unit is very interested in modern uses in the field of energy and energy efficiency in its future plans and programmes.
The visiting officials of the two companies thanked the minister and officials of the Sustainable Energy Unit for opening the prospect of cooperation with companies operating in the field of solar energy.
The meeting was attended by Sustainable Energy Unit's Executive Director Jehan Al-Murbati.
