Nouri inaugurates agricultural equipment and products fair

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Abdelwahab Nouri inaugurated Monday in Ain Defla (145 km west of Algiers) the national fair of agricultural equipment and products and refrigeration.
About sixty companies are taking part in this three-day event, organized at the games hall of Ain Defla city.
Accompanied by local authorities, including the agricultural sector’s officials, the minister visited, on this occasion, the different stands of this fair.
While welcoming the quality of the exhibited products, the minister instructed farm technicians to “leave their desks and to go to the field to establish direct contacts with the farmers.”
He also reiterated the State’s support to the farmers so that Algeria could ensure its food security.
