
Secretary General of the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) Hazem Fahmi inked a memorandum of understanding Monday with director of the COMESA Regional Investment Agency Heba Salama.
The memo represents a general framework to facilitate cooperation between COMESA member states to support regional and international investments and increase inter-trade rates to be reflected positively on the economic and social developments, Foreign Ministry said in a statement Monday.
The cooperation fields between the EAPD and COMESA cover organizing conferences, exhibitions and business forums along with conducting studies and researches for investors.
A host of ambassadors of COMESA members states attended the event.
