Derasat to organise seminar on GCC economic integration

Logo of Derasat Center Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Dearast) will organise a seminar, in cooperation with Gulf Research Center (GRC) on Monday, September 22.
The seminar will discuss the requirements of achieving economic integration among the GCC countries, challenges and ambitious, with the participation of a group of GCC economic officials.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre f or Strategic and International Studies and Energy Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar said that the GCC has significant achievements in the economic coordination and cooperation among themselves.
He added that next stage requires more integration and economic union, highlighting the emergence of major and influential economic blocs.
He pointed out that the GCC countries can establish an economic bloc prominently on the regional and global levels by overcoming some challenges and obstacles, especially with the launch of King Hamad Causeway and GCC Railway Network.
