More than OMR 45,000 will be funded by the Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) to three charitable associations.

Mulhim Al Jarf, Chairman of OOMCO Board of Directors, believes in the importance of enriching the lives of all communities.

“As a homegrown Omani brand, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our communities. Our dedication extends beyond the pump as we continue to drive our care model of supporting the elderly and those with special needs to lead fulfilling lives,” Al Jarf said.

The associations include Al Noor Association for the Blind, Omani Association for Hearing Impaired, and Omani Association for the Elderly Friends.

A signing ceremony was held with attendance of HE Sheikh Mohammad bin Said Al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development, and Mulhilm bin Bashir Al Jarf, Chairman of OOMCO Board of Directors. The agreements were signed by Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Shanfari, General Manager of shared services, and representatives from each association.

Oman Oil Marketing Company regularly conducts CSR initiatives to spur the sustainable social growth of the communities it serves. Its many initiatives include the annual Ata’a campaign, blood donation drives, and road safety programs among others.
