Syrian government forces launched 18 ground-to-ground missiles (GGM) at Qaboun district, eastern Damascus, the Syrian Civil Defense Center said on Saturday.

Clashes continued between the Syrian army and armed opposition eastern Damascus, local sources were quoted by Sky News channel as saying.

Earlier in the day, the evacuation of the third batch of residents of a Homs neighborhood heading to Idlib started.

As many as 50 cars and ambulances were dispatched to carry 1,458 civilians and 400 fighters, according to sources.
