Syrian Army Take Control of Key Eastern Aleppo District

The Syrian army took control of 30 districts in eastern Aleppo, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

According to Russia Today, the figure represents 52 percent of areas that were under the control of militias, the ministry said in a statement.

Syrian government troops have also liberated Karam al Qatrgi district from militants to continue their march towards the remaining areas in eastern Aleppo
