A unit of the Armed Forces on Friday pursued an armed terrorist group that was blocking roads and attacking citizens between al-Darkhabiyeh and Zakiyehin Damascus Countryside. An official source told SANA reporter that the army unit inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorist group's members and killed many of them, including Mohammad Hassan Khalid and Kamal Hassan Hassan. The armed forces inflicted heavy losses on armed terrorist groups in a string of qualitative operations against their gatherings in al-Shifounieh farms, Zamalka, Erbeen and al-Aliya farms in eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside. An official source told SANA that a unit of the armed forces killed and injured terrorists in an operation in al-Shifounieh farms. Terrorists Yaser al-Tinawi, Dirar Khareeta and Khaled al-Dalati were identified among the dead. Meanwhile, the Armed Forces continued chasing the terrorist groups in Khan al-Asal area in the countryside of Aleppo, killing many of their members, including their leaders. SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that terrorists Ahmad Hanano, Ismael Jawad and Osama Abo Mahmoud were identified among the dead. The Army also destroyed two ammo depots and a workshop for manufacturing explosive devices in al-Mansoura area along with the terrorists, weapons and munitions inside them, in addition to eliminating many terrorists near the infirmary in al-Atareb area. In the town of al-Bab, an Army unit eliminated a number of terrorist group leaders including Salah Abdelsattar Yasin, Walid al-Sharif, and Abdeljabbar Jneid. Army units eliminated a number of leaders from the so-called "Aleppo military council" in Hanano housings. In al-Nakarin area, an Army unit destroyed a gathering of terrorists and four cars equipped in machineguns, in addition to destroying terrorist hideouts in al-Sha'ar area in al-Haydariye. The residents of al-Jamiliyeh and al-Suleimaniyeh neighborhoods in Aleppo on Friday took out to the streets demanding that the terrorist groups be expelled. The residents chanted slogans expressing support to the Syrian Arab Army in its confrontation against the armed terrorist groups, asking for the expulsion of these groups from all areas in Aleppo and its countryside. An Armed Forces unit eliminated a terrorist group which was terrorizing locals and committing acts of robbery and theft in the farms east of the town of al-Rastan in Homs countryside. Among the terrorist who were killed were Maamoun al-Khatib who led a terrorist group affiliated with Jabhet al-Nusra, in addition to Mohammad Hamadi, Maher Hisham Matar, Fadi Mansour, Mustafa Hilal, and Ala'a Khattab. Armed Forces units carried out a series of special operations against terrorist hideouts in Evel, al-Dosariye, Mashare'a Josiye, Talbiseh and Teldo in Homs countryside, killing and injuring a number of terrorists. Terrorists' gatherings in the areas of Hallouz, al-Alya, al-Ghassanyeh, al-Rami, Ras al-Ma'ta' and Mishimsheh were also targeted. The army units pursued and eliminated scores of terrorists in Qatroun, al-Neirab, Qiminas, Sahl al-Roug, Abu al-Dihour and Tal Salmo, inflicting heavy losses upon them. The Armed Forces also clashed with armed terrorist groups in the areas of Heesh, al-Hamidyeh and Wadi al-Daif and killed scores of the terrorists and destroyed their vehicles and weapons. In the town of al-Kastan al-Tahtani in Jisr al-Shughour area, an Armed Forces unit carried out a special operation in which many terrorists were injured or killed. Among the dead terrorists were foreigners, and some of the injured terrorists were taken by their cohorts to field hospitals set up by the terrorists near the borders with Turkey. An army unit clashed with two terrorist groups in the towns of Bait Shurouq and al-Khadra in Lattakia countryside. An official source told SANA reporter that heavy losses were inflicted upon the terrorists, adding that scores of terrorists were killed or injured.
