Shells land in Damascus

At least 11 people were killed while 20 others injured when shells landed on Saturday in al-Dwel'ah neighborhood in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

The shells were fired at the area by opposition groups, Sky News TV quoted the Syrian Observatory For Human Rights as saying.

The regime also regularly carries out air strikes on rebel-held areas around Damascus, particularly the Eastern Ghouta region, where aerial assaults in August alone killed 377 people, according to Doctors Without Borders organization.
